Gel manicures are great for long lasting shine and colour, however some people aren't to keen on the UV light curing ( drying ) system, not to mention the removal process.

Orly released their new Gel FX in the UK in September 2011. After waiting while other companies launched their Gel Polish versions, they then released theirs but in my opinion better! The system uses LED light as opposed to UV resulting in much quicker curing times.

Orly Gel FX also contains a vitamin infusion so actually is good for your nails too. The removal process is simple and quick and does not involve you sitting with your hands in bowls of acetone.

The 3-in-1 Cleanser, Primer and Basecoat are all infused with vitamins to build strength from step one. The revolutionary formula nourishes nails with healthy ingredients for durability, strength and shine. Antioxidant vitamins A and E help to promote healthy nails, while pro-vitamin B5 protects the structure of the natural nail. Each GelFX manicure is completed with ORLY’s vitamin-infused Cuticle Oil, made with orange blossom and wild cherry extracts to condition and moisturize problem cuticles.

You can also purchase a nail varnish in the exact same colour should you wish to top up inbetween vists or if you want to match you toes up to you fingers.
